Carlos Jones Concert & Towpath Run

Tonight I met my brother at Howe Meadow to enjoy a free reggae concert by Carlos Jones & the P.L.U.S. Band. Here are a few videos that I took, including a full length video of their song "Leave a Trail".....

We were planning on running trails after the concert but realized that it would be getting dark soon, so we headed over to the Boston Store and ran to Lock 29 and back on the Towpath for a total of 5 miles. My new shoes felt great. We'll see how they perform over longer distances. Here are a few pictures from our run and a video that I took on the way back to the Boston Store. You won't be able to see anything in the video but listen to all the wildlife sounds (toads, etc.)

Hey man, thanks for the bigups and the postings on your blog - I just stumbled upon it. That sure was a kickass day down there in the valley. I'm glad you guys made it out. Yeah I dedicated Leave A Trail to Vertical and all the runners. A friend of mine (rootsrunner)is doing the 100M BR and that's his tune! I'll send ya an mp3 if you want and you can share it with your buds. I'm a runner at heart, but more of a mountain biker in practice. I'm totally at one with the trail. You know what I mean.
Thanks again for plugging into the PLUS vibe, and keep leaving a trail!
Peace
Carlos

Hey Carlos..
Lloyd is one of my good running buddies as well. He actually gave me a copy of your set at the Hessler St. Fair. Great stuff. I listen to it all the time.
Look forward to reading your new blog and hope to hang out with you again soon.
