No Frills, Just Hills FA

Today the 2nd Annual No Frills, Just Hills FA took place in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. I had to slightly vary this year's course due to construction still taking place on the Kendall Lake Dam, so the distance for each loop went up from 2 miles to 2.25 miles. I was very pleased with the increased interest for this year's event, achieving a new attendance record with a total of 24 participants. There was also a new course record set by Jim Chaney with 15 loops completed.

The morning started off very foggy but quickly gave way to mostly sunny skies and a high in the mid 70s. Great weather once again... almost identical to last year. I was very happy with my effort today considering it has only been 2 weeks since running the MMT 100. I was able to complete 11 loops and really had to push it on the last loop in order to finish in under the 6 hour time limit. Overall it was an awesome day all around!
